THIS COSY SUITE IS LOCATED IN THE OLDEST PART OF THE CHÂTEAU, XVth CENTURY, AND DECORATED WITH SILK STRIPES, TOILE DE JOUY ON THE WALLS AND GEORGIAN ANTIQUES. THE WINDOWS OVERLOOK THE COURTYARD, ORCHARD AND CHAPEL WITH ITS' DEFENSIVE WALLS..

Chambre aux Fleurs, a charming double room with a queen size 160 cm bed is situated in the XV century wing of the Château. Bright Braquenié fabric forms a striking setting for the luscious patina of the XVIII century English antique furniture. An en-suite Italian marble bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and toilet is built into the former watch tower.

The adjoining room, Chambre Directoire, offers a period Empire single bed and overlooks the family chapel of the château. It shares the Italian marble bathroom with the Chambre aux Fleurs.

.A hearty English breakfast, served on fine porcelain, is offered with home-made jams and fresh seasonal fruit from the castle garden. You will thus savour the beginning of a beautiful and serene day in a peaceful small breakfast room or in the summer, on the terrace.

The Count of Vanssay will invite you, if you wish, for a visit of the castle, during which he will tie in the history of the Vanssay family with the History of France.
