The enquiry form
When you write to us, we receive your name, your email address, your telephone number if you give it, the subject and your message, and the page you wrote from. They are used only to answer you and, if you stay with us, to prepare your stay: that is the basis of this processing (steps you ask us to take before a contract). The message is carried to our mailbox byBrevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) and is not kept on the website. To block abusive sending, the server holds in memory for one hour at most, without recording it, the network address a message comes from.
We keep your messages for the time of our exchange and, if you stay with us, for as long as our accounting obligations require.
Visit statistics
We count page views with Umami, without cookies and without identifying you: the figures are anonymous and aggregated. The tool is hosted in France by our provider, Pink House Studio. Basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
What your browser keeps
No cookie. Only the home page's seasonal window notes in your browser, for the length of the visit, that it has already opened, so as not to appear again. Nothing of it leaves your browser.
Providers
- Pink House Studio (France): builds and hosts the site, on an OVH server in France.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): carries the form's messages.
- Sanity (Sanity Inc., United States): keeps the site's texts, photographs and films. Your browser loads the photographs and films from its servers, which therefore see your network address. This transfer outside the European Union is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., United States): if we switch on its robot check on the form (Turnstile), it sees your network address as soon as a page shows the form, whether you send a message or not. This transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may access your data, have it corrected or erased, object to its processing or ask for a copy, by writing to contact@chateaudelabarre.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
