This delightful room, flooded by sun and light, is attractively decorated with 18th century French and Italian furniture, a superb Aubusson tapestry and a very cheerful bathroom. The golden yellow Toile de Jouy and the Louis XV Trumeau probably make this the most striking room in the castle....

The king-size bed,and large Louis XV armchairs facing the lush garden, will offer you a bucolic and soothing view. Only the beautiful Aubusson tapestry comes as a superb contrast to this omnipresent yellow. A remarkable Italian chest of drawers blends well with French Louis XV furniture. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a bathtub and is decorated with tiles of the same warm colours.

The hearty English breakfast, served ion fine dishes, is offered with home-made jams and fresh seasonal fruit from the castle garden. You will thus savour the beginning of a beautiful and serene day in a the peaceful breakfast room..The Count of Vanssay will invite you, if you wish, for a visit of the castle, during which he will tie in the history of the Vanssay family with the History of France. Afterwards, enjoy a stroll in the fragrant garden and park, or opt for a swim in the large swimming pool by the fortification walls.
