E-BIKES ARE A FANTASTIC WAY TO SEE MORE OF THE COUNTRYSIDE, ALLOWING YOU TO PEDAL FOR LONGER AND FURTHER, ALONG PICTURESQUE COUNTRY ROADS, WEAVING THROUGH MEADOWS AND FORESTS, VINEYARDS AND MEDIEVAL TOWNS. THE CHATEAU WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH MAPS WELL ADAPTED TO CYCLE RIDES.

Exit the Château’s Park via the working farm and up the hill (electric will help!) into the quaint local village, then along small, winding country roads across fields of colza and poppies into the Vibraye forest. Why not take a picnic along with you in the bike’s wicker baskets! Complement the picnic with a stop at a farmers’ market, or find a typical French bistro in La Châtre sur Loir, Montoire or Lavardin. Or lunch in the Orangerie of the magnificent gardens of Sasnières…
